San Felice "Pugnitello" IGT 2011 is a rare and intriguing wine made from the ancient and nearly forgotten Pugnitello grape, which San Felice has played a key role in reviving. This single-varietal expression showcases the exceptional potential of Pugnitello, delivering a wine of remarkable depth, structure, and individuality while maintaining the elegance typical of Tuscany.

Vinification and Aging

  • Fermentation: Traditional fermentation in stainless steel tanks with temperature control.
  • Maceration: Extended skin contact for optimal extraction of color, tannins, and aromatics.
  • Aging: 18–20 months in French oak barriques, followed by an additional 8–10 months of bottle aging before release.
