Overview

Fuenteseca Tequila Blanco, Cosecha 2018, is a premium tequila crafted from over-ripe Blue Weber agave harvested in 2018. These agaves were cultivated in the mineral-rich, calcium carbonate-laden soils of Vista Hermosa, Michoacán, situated at an elevation of approximately 5,000 feet. This unique terroir imparts distinctive characteristics to the tequila.

Production Process

The agaves are cooked in a low-pressure autoclave and crushed using a screw mill. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks, followed by double distillation in copper pot stills. The tequila is then rested for several years in stainless steel tanks, allowing the flavors to meld and soften before bottling.
