Vecchia Grappa Caffo is a premium Italian grappa produced by Distilleria Caffo, a family-owned distillery with a legacy dating back to 1915. This aged grappa showcases the craftsmanship and dedication of Caffo in creating a smooth, well-balanced spirit with complex aromas and flavors.

Production Process

• Ingredients: Made from a selection of high-quality Italian grape pomace, including Pinot Grigio, Refosco, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gaglioppo, and Magliocco.
• Distillation: Slow steam distillation in a bain-marie-style alembic pot still, preserving the delicate flavors of the grapes.
• Aging: Aged in oak barrels for up to two years, allowing the spirit to develop rich flavors and a golden hue.

Tasting Notes

• Appearance: Light golden color, reflecting its time spent in oak barrels.
• Aroma: Subtle yet complex, featuring notes of sweet tropical fruit, banana, and coconut.
• Palate: Smooth and silky, with flavors of banana, coconut, and cinnamon, leading to a long finish with hints of creamy honey and a touch of white pepper.
